HOW DO YOU SAY "ASQUAMCHUMAUKE"
Asquamchumauke is pronounced "As-quam-chew-maw-kee" and means "crooked water from high places". It is the native name of the Baker River!
DO I HAVE TO BE A MEMBER TO PARTICIPATE?
Membership to a club is not mandatory in the state of New Hampshire, though it is highly recommended. We encourage you to join the club in the area where you ride most often since those membership dollars go to the club to help fund things like trail maintenance, groomer upkeep and the many other expenses clubs incur throughout the year to provide you with a great riding experience. Plus you get a discount on your sled registration, even better if you have multiple machine since it applies to all the machines registered to you.
HOW OFTEN DOES ASQUAMCHUMAUKE VALLEY SNOWMOBILE CLUB MEET?
Our club meets once a month. It is open to all members, and even if you are not a member stop in and check us out. Meeting information will be posted in advance on our website as well as our facebook page. Typically, we will do some sort of potluck style meal just before the meeting for all to enjoy and socialize. Meetings are most often held in the Pythian Sisters Hall in the center of Warren.
WHERE CAN I PARK WHEN I WANT TO RIDE YOUR TRAILS?
You can park across from the rocket, next to the town hall.
DO YOU HAVE TRAIL MAPS AVAILABLE?
Trail maps can be found at Appleknockers. We are working on making it available for download as well.
IS THERE FOOD AND/OR GAS AVAILABLE ON YOUR TRAILS?
Yes! Ore Mill Bar and Grill and Calamity Jane's Restaurant are both trail accessible. Appleknockers General Store/Gas can also be reached by our trails. Stop in and support these great local businesses!
